Whats inside your head? Big Draw 2013

October 2013 and another Big Draw. This year our starting point was the exhibition "Art of the Asylum" at Lakeside Arts centre. I created a game centre consisting of a drawn head divided up into different parts-  these were supposed to match different parts/functions of our brain ( emotion, vision, memory, behaviour, language, skill....),

Next to the head was a box of  cards which each had on them a drawing activity/tasks that correlated to that part of the brain ( i.e vision-= an observational drawing task.)  I also created some "Wild Cards" that were just fun. The players spun the arrow, choose a card and did the activity.

I set the room up with different size rolls of paper, which was suppose to link to the idea of the electrodes in your brain that send messages along different paths ( although my science on this may be a bit dodgy!!)..

We had a great day creating different drawings on our mind paths...
