We spent two days with groups of children from Mansfield Primary Schools working on props, Scenery and Drama inspired by the story "Where the wild things are". Other artists from Samanya Drama created Masks, Story boards and dramatic moments from the story. I worked with groups to create "word trees". The group imagined what the trees may look like were the wild things live, and used describing words as a starting point to make branches, flowers and leaves for the trees. They were then used as part of the scenery for the afternoon show.
