Tram Traveller

Rufford Junior School and Berridge Junior School worked to created images for a Tram Traveller Time Line, showing the history of trams in Nottingham. The groups have been working with GroundWorks to find out all about the Trams in Nottingham, visiting the tram museum in Critch and having debates and discussions.

The work is on show at Bulwell Library and Hyson Green Library and will also be shown as part of a larger exhibition of all the Tram Travellor work next year.

Where the Wild things are

We spent two days with groups of children from Mansfield Primary Schools working on props, Scenery and Drama inspired by the story "Where the wild things are". Other artists from Samanya Drama created Masks, Story boards and dramatic moments from the story. I worked with groups to create "word trees". The group imagined what the trees may look like were the wild things live, and used describing words as a starting point to make branches, flowers and leaves for the trees. They were then used as part of the scenery for the afternoon show.
